A stormy tale
I was born to a simple family of five. My sister, Nephali was the eldest, myself the middle child, and my brother, the youngest: Kreios. In the homeland, it was ruled by a council instead of just one or two leaders. Both my parents served their time alongside four to five other members through democratic rule. Each term lasted a total of two years before it would be time to vote for another council. As we approached a new term, the night of the preliminaries, my mother and sister had been assassinated. We could only assume it was a means to threaten us, to tarnish our family, and refrain from anyone taking a stand to participate in the council once more. In a fit of bestial rage, after the assassin had been identified, my father sought vengeance on behalf of his late wife and eldest daughter, failing the understand the potential consequence. Because he took matters into his own hands; he had been revoked the opportunity of his seat in council and punished before sentencing the individual who had slain our kin. Assuming his actions could be repeated, both my brother and I were beaten, and excommunicated from our tribe without the offering of protest and means to defend our own actions along with our father. Years have passed since then finding ourselves riding the vast ocean waves of these unfamiliar lands Faces along the way
