research - Keisuke - 06-20-2022

Some might think it unwise for someone like him to wander to these lands. There were certain risks for him that would prove to be deadly if he weren't careful. But the best things in life came with risks. His line of work had always found him in strange places at times, even when he had an occupational shift. The only difference was that one was only slightly safer depending on the activity he was deciding to partake in. He'd forgone his blade to take up another weapon, using the ink of his pen to craft words that could distract and transport people to vastly different worlds. With his help, he could bring people joy and realization of fantasies they may not have known they wanted to live out.

But these things did not come free. While he had a large imagination, there were limits to what his mind could create. His best material was a mixture of fiction and reality. This was accomplished by research done of the world around him. It would be easy if it would all come to him or happen in the comfort of his own town. But where would the fun be in that? Without working for things it became boring. It was a sure way to kill his muse.

Lingering under the eaves of a shadowed building, red eyes cast up toward the sky that was growing dark very quickly as the sun began to set. He could walk about freely now and be safe. He could all but blend in with the night life that was slowly beginning to stir with the coming dark. Unless someone moved in to look too closely, they were not likely to notice he thought. This was an optimal place for research notes with the mingling of humans and werewolves alike. Afterall, this was their capitol so to speak as far as he knew.

Speaking && Thinking

RE: research - August - 05-06-2023

Mind raced as paces carried him through the steadily growing darkness, grasping wildly at whatever trailing thought one could in hopes of finding a solution. Any answers to the problem presented for from what he understood time to make amends was rather limited. Even if an offer was taken there was no guarantee absence alone would bring freedom from proclaimed bonds. Names could always be forged upon legal documentation, the ‘missing’ hunted down by those desperate enough for the coin.

Parents issuing it under the falsity of concern for one’s well being when it was nothing but to save their own skin. Prevent others from finding them incompetent, keep ‘shameful’ activities from soiling a family name. Delay all that was promised and yet there was hopes for more… there was always a way out. One could only hope options came as a favorable means of escape. He would have to think on it. Contemplate options to be presented upon another meeting if it ever came to be. For he would not blame the woman if she never wished to be in his company again.

Thinking on it now only brought a crown to shake before sights would focus more on those around him. He knew better than to be consumed by thoughts in the creeping darkness, unsavory folks wandered it just as eagerly as he did. Thought which bid rosen gaze to flicker only to find pause, to linger upon one more than just familiar. A man the goat had hardly expected to see out this way and despite all which touched him, signs which snapped for one to draw away from a beast cursed with eternal life - that unspoken allure kept his focus.

Eyes brightening as he looked to the vampiric without sense of shame. All which plagued him momentarily pressed aside no matter how anxieties still tinted his gaze, reflected in the way ears lay carried on approach. This one had been absent from the field for some time now, any call for paired assignment often landing the goat with unknown soul. Undying curiosity sparking within as simply askance beckoned for the man’s attention, “Keisuke?” Identity he need not question, one August could hardly complain about seeing, “What are you doing here?” In a land of wolves, in the presence of those who may not hesitate to attempt tearing him apart.
