There were nights, once upon a time when she would linger beneath the stars accompanied with the man who sought to claim her as his wife. He would make up ridiculous stories pointing to the stars that were shared with him by his ancestors before him. It was certainly different to gaze from behind glass panes, but the exotic flora surrounding them made it feel otherworldly in its own way. There’s no need to thank me, Her expression painted with near childlike inquisition as her golden sights searched him. She wanted to question though was no sooner interrupted by the mirthful summons of a feline. Her own sights broke away and followed the motions Aevor made following his genial greeting to the trotting feline making their way to steal the spotlight. Sonata remained where she stood for another moment longer. “I suppose another seeks your company.” She hummed kindly with a girlish chuckle. “I do not wish to be an imposition any further.” One hand clasped the other that held to the music sheets. “Thank you for your time, Aevor. It was a pleasure to meet you. Perhaps we could meet in another less frivolous setting some time?” Her gaze would shift to the feline and dipped her head lightly in amicable greeting. |
