Mortals are allowed limited mutations: Pointed Elf-like Ears and Odd Skin Tones.
If blood-bonded to a Vampire, Humans are allowed freeform mutations.
These include but are not limited to: horns, wings, tails, additional limbs, etc.
Magic, passives & weaknesses
【Magic】
Elemental Magic: Humans are capable of calling upon the mystical powers of the elements, summoning them to fulfill their desires.
Witchcraft: Realistic witchcraft - and alchemy - are at a human’s fingertips granting them the ability to delve into either of these paths.
Blood Bond: When magically bonded to a vampire, a human gains access to the Dark Arts (Necromancy, Blood Magic, and limited sight through the vampire’s Feline Familiar). Upon forging this bond the mortal body may mutate. It can be gradual, it may happen immediately, or it may never come. So long as they hold this bond humans are granted freeform mutation. Should it ever be broken such appearances will fade alongside the magic gained. Characters are only allowed one (1) blood bond at a time. This cannot be an NPC.
【Passives】
Silver: The only race capable of safely handing silver to any capacity without any ill effects. This includes jewelry, blade weapons such as knives, as well as specialized weaponry crafted by the Smith.
Turning: Humans are the only race that may be turned, however, once they’ve been changed there’s no going back. They will lose access to their mortal abilities and instead gain the traits of the supernatural. To learn more, visit each race's page!
【Weaknesses】
Compared to the other races, human's generally have a smaller HP pool in events. They are also one of the few races who face the threat of death on a constant basis from various sources throughout the world. Unlike the other races, humans also have a limited life-span and cannot naturally have physical mutations outside of skin color and elf-like ears.
